How to remove chrome policies that are not allowing you to make changes to your settings and are forcing search engine specifics. Specifically "akamaihd.net" search engine default that cannot be changed.

You cannot remove this as your default search engine. Also, your Chrome is showing that it's managed by an organization.

Instructions

Download, Install, and Run Anti-Virus Software

Malwarebytes

Malwarebytes is the easiest and will work fine for it. Navigate to https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/, download and install, then run a scan.

Remove "Profiles" in settings forcing changes to Chrome

Navigate to "System Preferences"
Search for "Profiles"
If there are none, then you're good to go. 

(would be showing up where the red circle is)
Delete any Profiles that are present
Restart your computer
Navigate back into chrome and you can remove the search settings.
