Cancel a Computer Restart

How to cancel or abort a scheduled restart. This can be a handy trick when you receive a two-minute warning that your computer is going to restart.
Instructions
Windows
- Press the Windows Key on your keyboard (or click the windows button on your taskbar).
- Type "shutdown /a" and press enter to run the restart abort command.
- You're all set. The restart command should now be cancelled.
Mac
- Option A
- Start opening any app during the shutdown process to cancel the restart.
- Option B
- Open Terminal (open Finder or press Command + Spacebar and type "Terminal" to search for the app).
- Type "sudo killall shutdown" to abort the restart.
- You're all set. The restart command should now be cancelled.
