How to uninstall and reinstall Zoom to solve program issues. The trick is to skip the admin credential prompt when asked to proceed with the Zoom install. That way you don't need to know the admin credential for the computer to install Zoom.

Instructions

Uninstall Zoom

  1. Press the Windows key and start typing "Add or remove programs" to find the app, then click on the item to launch the app

  2. From the app, search the list of programs installed on your computer to find Zoom and then click "Uninstall"
    1. If it prompts for admin credentials, click no to skip


Install Zoom

  1. Download Zoom from here
  2. Launch the download to install Zoom
    1. If it prompts for admin credentials, click no to skip
